Precious modeling in Omaha Fashion Week.
Summer 2023, I interned with Pamela Lucas at the House of Pamela Renee. I expanded my pattern-making skills and seamstress abilities. Ms. Lucas also allowed her interns to collaborate on a design for her Fall 2023 collection. I took her French inspiration literally and drafted an upside-down wine glass dress. The black side pieces achieved the wine glass look, creating an optical illusion. I also added fullness at the skirt to make the glass head. My design was featured at KCFW and Omaha FW.

My internship broadened my construction and design capabilities, as well as my marketing. I was tasked with improving and expanding the HOPR social media presence. With the help of my partner, I scripted, recorded, directed, and edited video content. The videos caught people’s eyes as we started getting thousands of views, with the “Better Call Pam!” tiktok amassing 267.9k views, and 64.7k likes. After my completing my internship, Ms. Lucas hired me as her permanent social media employee.
